This policy covers Speedometer and G-Force and this website. Aross AB, Sweden, is responsible for personal information we handle. Contact us at hello@aross.se.
Your measurements stay on your device
The app uses location to calculate speed and trip statistics, and motion to show G-force. We do not receive these readings. Trip statistics and preferences are saved on your device. Remove the app from your devices to delete local app data.
You can reset statistics in the Trip statistics panel, turn off location access in your device settings, or choose another module to stop G-force measurement. Siri and device backups, if used, are subject to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. Browser speedometer readings are not saved or sent to us.
Support and website visits
If you email us, we use your email address, message and any attachments to respond. Providing them is voluntary; without a way to reply, we cannot answer. We retain correspondence only as long as needed for the request, related follow-up or legal obligations and claims. There is no fixed deletion period.
Our website host processes basic connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Our legal basis for support and website processing is our legitimate interest in helping users and operating a secure website. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Service providers
We use Apple for email and Cloudflare for website hosting. They may process information outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States, using safeguards such as approved contractual protections. Their Apple and Cloudflare privacy notices explain these safeguards and their retention practices. Contact us for further information or a copy of the relevant safeguards.
Your rights
For information we hold, you can ask for access, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy, where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@aross.se to exercise your rights. You can also complain to Sweden’s privacy authority, IMY, or your local data protection authority.
